One of the major shortfalls of the BMW E36 chassis is the rear axles. If you're running any significant power upgrades or are prone to spirited driving, you're likely to find yourself swapping out broken axles at some point on your cars life. We experienced this first hand with our E36 drift car & have since been hard at work to create a solution.
We've run this kit for the past 6 months on our 350HP E36 drift car without a single breakage. Before this, we were breaking 1-2 medium case axles per event.
Our upgraded axle kit allows you to run complete VP commodore axles (included in the kit) that utilise a 108mm CV (stock is 100mm) and are overall MUCH stronger than the stock medium case axles. These are available off the shelf at Repco which allows for easy replacement. The kit includes a Billet CNC machined adaptor that bolts to your medium case diff & a custom made outer stub that fits into the outer hub in the trailing arm.

PLEASE NOTE: Installation requires you to slightly modify your outer trailing arm to fit the bigger axle & does not allow for use of the stock handbrake cable. You'll also need to slightly massage your outer spring perch if you're not running true coilovers.
